Senator Claire Ayer (D) says the proposed health care reform bill facing Vermont legislators would bring savings. The Burlington Free Press reports a preliminary analysis of the pending legislation suggests there would be more than enough savings to cover an expansion of insurance to all Vermonters and investments such as financial incentives to recruit and retain primary care doctors and other health care providers in short supply.
