On June 8, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals will hear arguments about whether or not to reverse Florida U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson’s decision to strike down the federal healthcare reform law. Small businesses and about 26 states oppose the law. They say Congress did not have the power to require all Americans to maintain health coverage. Judget Vinson’s decision threw out the individual mandate along with provisions regarding Medicare discounts for some seniors and provisions allowing children up to age 26 to remain on their parents’ coverage.
